The 24-year-old has excelled in for the Turkish side over the last two seasons, keeping 10 clean sheets in 28 matches in the Super Lig. He was recently called up to the Turkey national team for last month's Nations League matches against Hungary, but was left on the bench for both legs.

Villa already have World Cup winner Emiliano Martinez holding the fort in goal, with the Argentina star still tied to the club until 2029. The 32-year-old is not expected to leave any time soon, meaning Ozer will likely be brought in as back up. In the long-term, though, he could be his replacement.
