Miami manager Javier Mascherano will have a selection headache on Saturday, with Suarez likely to miss the Herons' league fixture against Minnesota. The Uruguayan striker had to leave the team for "personal reasons" and did not appear in training on Friday.
Lionel Messi is expected to be available.
Miami manager Javier Mascherano spoke about the absences the team will face for the match, with Suárez’s absence standing out.
“Drake [Callender] is injured, and the club will later provide an update on his condition. As for the others, Luis had to travel due to personal reasons, and everyone else – except for David Ruiz – is available for training. We’re still evaluating Baltasar [Rodríguez's] situation, as he’s coming back from an injury and we need to assess what’s best,” Mascherano explained.

Suarez has been an inconsistent contributor for Miami this season, and has only found the net three times. Still, the Herons are thin at striker behind him, with Ecuadorian youngster Allen Obando – who has just one MLS goal to his name – serving as his primary backup.
Obando seems likely to step into the XI.
